The consciousness and social life of Ukrainians changed dramatically when the war started. For me, as a musician,
it completely changed how I viewed my music and how
I performed. Perhaps the most impactful change was how
I connected with my audience. When you hear music on
the streets, it connects with something inside and makes you
feel alive, it evokes memories, and it brings joy. This is more important than ever now that we’re at war, music reminds
us that we’re survivors.
